It is possible to switch your managed server and migrate your data, configurations, and IP address. You can exchange your virtual managed server with any current model within the MC line (for technical reasons only upgrades are possible). And with the dedicated managed servers, you can exchange your MX, MA, MS, and MQ models with one of the current MA models. During this process, your server will not be available for a short time. The amount of time depends on the amount of data you have; it's usually between 30 to 90 minutes. We perform this service only during our normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, Central European Time). This allows our team members to fully concentrate on your exchange.
We provide the Hardware Exchange Service at a bargain. You only pay the setup fee for the new server model. Our prices are based on the actual costs of the server and support and are therefore not negotiable. Your monthly fee after that will be equal to the new model's monthly fee.
