Changes to billing system for October 2024

Due to changes in our billing system, the layout of our invoices will change slightly in some ways. We will send customers invoices using the new layout starting on 1 October 2024.

What will change on the invoices' layout?

In future, the first page will provide an overview of the total invoice amount and the partial amounts from the individual product categories (like “Dedicated Server”, “Storage”, “Webhosting”) and projects. The overview lists all costs you generated for each panel (konsoleH, Robot, Cloud Console).

The following pages list each product separately and in detail. Here, we summarize items based on the product, the unit of measure, and the unit price.

In the itemized invoice (previously: “Detailed Cloud Usage”), you will find the costs and the individual consumption values for all the individual items in detail. The itemized invoice is not part of the invoice PDF; we provide it to you separately. You can either view it directly in your browser or download it as a CSV file.

Where can I find the itemized invoice with detailed consumption information?

You can access your itemized invoice either via a QR code on your invoice, via a link in the PDF file, or directly on your account by going to “Invoices” > “Overview” and then clicking on “Details”. You can also download the itemized invoice as a CSV file. You will find the download link on your bill.

To view the itemized invoice, you need to enter your customer number. You can find this on your bill or on your customer profile in "Accounts".

What information is on the itemized invoice?

You will find detailed consumption information on the itemized invoice. You will find information on the calculations for backup costs, discounts/sales, and other products. For add-ons, you will see the reference numbers for the server; you can use the CSV file to clearly allocate any add-on and filter for them.

How are included products shown on the invoice?

Included add-on domains and other included products are not shown with the monthly consumption costs, but with the hourly consumption costs.

5 euro minimum value for invoices

When we introduce our new invoices, you will only receive an invoice for the month if you have exceeded the minimum value of 5 euros. If you use less than 5 euros, we will add that amount to the next invoice. If, the next month, the total is still not over 5 euros, the amount will be added to the next month's invoice. As soon as the value goes over 5 euros, the new billing system will send you an invoice. If you remain below 5 euros for 3 months, you will receive an invoice for the amount between 0 and 5 euros. So you will get an invoice after the 3rd month at the latest. This rule only applies after we have sent you your very first invoice.
