Additional domains

Setting up additional domains for an account

If you want to use several domains on the same webspace, you will require the following product:

• Addon domains:
  • You are free to choose the target directory.
  • Mailboxes, alias addresses and subdomains will come from your main account quota.

How to order

1. Click on the account in the domain overview which you would like to attach the additional domain to.

2. Click on "Addon Domains; Add".

3. Select the desired type and click on "Next".

4. Select one of the options in the list to register a new domain or transfer an existing domain:

   • I want to register a new domain. Select this option if you want to register a new free domain.

   • I want to transfer my existing domain to Hetzner Online GmbH (Transfer) Select this option if you want to transfer an existing domain to us.

   • I want an account; the domain will remain with the previous provider. Select this option if you would like to keep your domain registered with your previous provider. This is also the case, for example, if you manage the domains via Domain Registration Robot. If you choose this option, you will only receive the webspace from us. Important note: You will have to make arrangements with your domain registrar so that the domain points to our webspace!

   Warning: You can only transfer an existing domain if it belongs to you.

5. Enter the required contact information for the domain (owner [owner-c/holder] and administrator [admin-c]).

6. Select your desired payment method. If you are making yearly payments using SEPA or using bank/wire transfers, you can get a 10% discount. To get your 10% discount, click on "Recalculate".

7. Check all the details and agree to our terms and conditions. To finish, just click on 'Order'!
