What is DNS Administration?

DNS stands for Domain Name System. This is responsible for assigning a domain name to an IP address. For example, the domain name «mydomain.com» translates to the IP address 123.123.123.123 (hypothetical example). An IP address is a world-wide unique number combination which is assigned to a server on the Internet.

With the help of konsoleH's DNS Administration function, you can change the entries in the DNS system and therefore control how your domain is addressed on the Internet.

Warning: False DNS entries can cause malfunctions on your website and mail system. Before you make any changes, please make sure you know exactly what you are changing and what the consequences of the changes are for your domain.
