What is a forwarding address
A forwarding address is a virtual email address. People also call it an alias.
A forwarding address receives incoming emails and automatically forwards them to other email addresses.
This feature lets you use multiple email addresses, and it forwards all of them to one or more mailboxes.
Create a forwarding rule
To create a new forwarding rule, click on Email → Forwarding and then New alias.
- Enter the desired
Alias name. Enter only the part before the @ symbol. - Optionally, you can add a
Description. - In the Receiver section, enter the
destination address. - Click
Add. - Repeat the process if you want to use multiple recipients.
- Click
Save.
You can use both internal and external email addresses.
Edit a forwarding rule
To change an existing forwarding rule:
- Open the forwarding rules overview.
- Click on the name of the forwarding rule or on the pencil icon.
You can then adjust the settings. You cannot change the name of the forwarding rule.
Delete a forwarding rule
To remove a forwarding rule, click on the trash can icon in the corresponding row.
Note: You cannot undo this action.
