In the Email section of konsoleH, you can manage mailboxes. You can create new mailboxes, edit existing ones, or delete them.

Creating a Mailbox

Here’s how to create a new mailbox.

  1. In konsoleH, select the Domain. It is important that you do not select the hosting name.
  2. Click Email in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click New Mailbox on the right.
  4. Enter the desired name in the email address field. Enter only the part before the @ symbol.
  5. Enter the desired password in both password fields.
  6. Optionally, add a comment for the mailbox; this helps when you manage many mailboxes.
  7. Click Save.

You have now set up the mailbox. The full email address also serves as the username for webmail or email programs.

Editing a Mailbox

To edit an existing mailbox, proceed as follows.

  1. Open the mailbox overview.
  2. Click on the mailbox name or the pencil icon.

Mailbox Settings

Here you can change basic settings.
For example, you can reset the mailbox password.

Send Copies to Other Addresses

You can configure incoming emails to be sent to additional addresses as well.

The original email will still be saved in the Inbox.

  1. Enter an email address in the Copy to field.
  2. Click Add.
  3. The address appears in the list of recipients.

You can edit or delete entered addresses later. Both internal and external addresses can be used.
Then click Save.

Custom filter settings

You can define your own filter settings for a mailbox.

By default, the system uses the global settings for spam filters, blacklists, and whitelists.

To use your own settings:

  1. Uncheck Use global settings.
  2. Adjust the desired settings.

For more information, see the Mail filters section.

Advanced settings

Under Enable or Disable, you can turn a mailbox on or off.
For active mailboxes, you can also set an Expiration Date. After this date, the system automatically deactivates the mailbox.

Specify the period in days. If you do not want automatic deletion, set the slider to never.
