In addition to traditional email clients such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, you can also use a webmail interface.
This option lets you access your emails via a web browser from various devices.
Basic webmail functions
In addition to the basic ability to read your emails and compose new ones, you have the following additional features:
- Address book: Manage your contacts
- Filters: Define how emails should be sorted into different IMAP folders in Webmail
- Calendar: Calendar including the option to share individual calendars with other users
- Tasks: Keep track of your to-do list
- Notes: A notepad integrated into Webmail
- Account: Set up an autoresponder or email forwarding directly in Webmail, or change the password for your mailbox
- and much more
Logging in to Webmail
Open the following address in your browser: https://webmail.your-server.de
Then enter the following details:

Using Webmail
The interface is structured similarly to traditional email programmes.
You can find additional information on how to use the service in the relevant section of Webmail under Help.
Show folders
Click on Folder actions and then on Show all folders. To permanently show the folder, right-click on it and select Show.
Set the default folder for sent emails or spam messages
In the Webmail user settings, you can customise the Folder for sent messages under Personal details.
You can change the Trash under Delete and move messages.
In the settings for Spam messages, you can set the Spam folder. By default, this is spambucket.
Note: The system may only create the folder after you mark the first email as spam.
View for older browsers
You can use a simplified interface for older browsers.
To do so, go to the webmail page and select the Simple option in the Mode field.
View for mobile devices
You can use a mobile interface for smartphones.
To do so, select one of the following options in the Mode field:
- Mobile (Smartphone)
- Mobile (Minimal)
