To manage the data of your Buckets via a graphical user interface on your local device, you can use WinSCP, a file transfer client for Windows.
-
Download WinSCP from the official website
-
After the installation completed, open WinSCP
The window to login will automatically pop up. Enter the following information:
Option Value File protocol Amazon S3 Encryption TLS/SSL Implicit encryption Host name fsn1.your-objectstorage.com
Port number 443 Access key ID <your_access_key>
Secret access key <your_secret_key>
-
Save your login information
After you entered all of the information, click on "Save" to save the login information for future connections.
If you don't tick "Save password", you will have to enter your secret key every time you build a connection to your Buckets. If you do tick "Save password", it will save the secret key and you don't need to enter it again at future connections.
-
Connect to your Buckets
After you saved the connection information, click on "Login" to establish a connection to your Buckets.
In the WinSCP window, you should now see your Buckets and their contents.
You can now upload new files to your Buckets and edit existing files via a graphical user interface on your local device.
