Note: Snapshots are not full backups; they only track changes and cannot be used to create a new Storage Box. For details on how snapshots work, see the Storage Box Snapshots overview.
To create a manual snapshot of your Storage Box, or enable automatic snapshots on a schedule you choose (e.g. daily, weekly, or monthly) on your Hetzner Console, please open your project, navigate to "Storage Boxes" in the left menu bar, and do the following:

Select the Storage Box of which you want to create the snapshot

Go to Snapshots on the upper menu bar

Select one of the two options

Take manual snapshot
Enter a description that will help you distinguish your snapshots later on.

Enable automatic snapshots
When you enable automatic snapshots, you can choose when the snapshots should be taken and also set the maximum number of snapshot slots that should be used. Once the slot limit is reached, the oldest snapshot will automatically be deleted as soon as a new snapshot is created.
If you are happy with your settings, click on "Save".

The snapshots should now get created.
