What is an OTP (One-Time Password) and why did you receive one?

A One-Time Password (OTP) is a unique security code that is only valid for a short period of time.
You will receive an OTP from us if you log in to your account from a new device or an unusual location.
This ensures that only you have access to your account.

How does the OTP process work?

  1. Login attempt
You try to log in to your account.

  2. Verification of your login
Our system checks whether your login comes from a different device or an unusual location.

  3. OTP delivery
If additional security is required, we send you a 6-digit OTP to your registered email address.

  4. Entering the OTP
You enter the code in the login screen.

  5. Access granted
After entering the correct OTP, you can successfully log in.

Important: When 2FA is enabled

If you have activated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you will no longer receive OTPs by email. In this case, 2FA fully replaces the OTP process. How to set up 2FA: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
