Hetzner authoritative name servers

This article is about our authoritative DNS system. Please see Hetzner recursive name servers for information about our recursive DNS servers that are meant to be used for the DNS name resolution on your server.

When you use our DNS system for your domain, your domain registration and your NS records must point to our name servers. This will also allow you to manage your DNS records, benefit from integrations in our systems, and more.

If you have registered your domain with Hetzner Online, your name servers are already set to the Hetzner Online name servers. You do not need to take any further action.

New name servers for Robot and Cloud Console customers

• hydrogen.ns.hetzner.com.
• oxygen.ns.hetzner.com.
• helium.ns.hetzner.de.

If you need to provide the IP addresses to your current registrar, you may use the following addresses:

secondary DNS servers (old name servers for Robot customers)

• ns1.first-ns.de.
• robotns2.second-ns.de.
• robotns3.second-ns.com.

Note: 213.133.100.103 and 2a01:4f8:0:1::5ddc:2 have replaced the IP addresses 213.133.105.6 and 2a01:4f8:d0a:2004::2 for robotns2.second-ns.de on 4 December 2023. Please ensure, that you allow DNS zone transfers (AXFR) for these new IP addresses. If you have the old IP addresses still in your configuration, you may remove them after 4 December 2023.

Name servers for konsoleH customers

• ns1.your-server.de.
• ns.second-ns.com.
• ns3.second-ns.de.

If you need to provide the IP addresses to your current registrar, you may use the following addresses:

Note: 213.133.100.102 and 2a01:4f8:0:1::5ddc:1 have become the new IP addresses for ns1.your-server.de in replacement of 213.133.106.251 and 2a01:4f8:d0a:2006::2 in August 2023.
