This article describes the options for transferring products between different Hetzner accounts. The procedure differs depending on the platform: Robot, Hetzner Console, or konsoleH.
Robot products
Dedicated root servers
For root servers, the transfer is carried out as described in the following article: Server transfers between Robot customers
Domains
Domains can be transferred directly in Robot by the previous contract partner.
Procedure:
- Select the domain to be transferred in Robot under Domains.
- Create a transfer token via Create token and pass it on to the new contract partner. The token is valid for 7 days.
- The new contractual partner starts the transfer under Domains → Show domain transfers → Start domain transfer by entering the token.
- The previous owner receives an email and confirms the transfer in Robot in the Transfer tab.
- After confirmation, the transfer is carried out and the new contractual partner receives a notification.
Note: An existing AV contract is not automatically transferred and must be renewed if necessary.
Rackspot
Rack space reservations can be transferred in two ways:
- Via form
- Via double support request in Robo
- Sender opens a ticket with transfer request
- Recipient opens another ticket and agrees to the transfer
vSwitch
A vSwitch cannot be transferred. Servers must first be removed from the vSwitch, transferred to the new account, and then assigned to a new vSwitch.
Cloud products (Hetzner Console)
Storage Box
A Storage Box is transferred via a shared project.
Procedure:
- The recipient creates a project and invites the sender.
- The sender moves the Storage Box to this project.
- The recipient then moves the Storage Box to their own project.
Cloud Server
The procedure is the same as for moving a Storage Box:
- The recipient creates a project and invites the sender.
- The sender moves the Cloud Server to this project.
- The recipient moves the server to a private project.
Object Storage
Object Storage Buckets cannot be transferred between projects. To move them, the data must be replicated:
- Create a new bucket in the target project.
- Transfer the data using tools such as rclone.
Project invitations in the Hetzner Console
To add a member to a project:
- Open the project.
- Select Security in the left-hand menu.
- Open the Members tab
- Add member

konsoleH products
General procedure
There are two ways to transfer products between konsoleH accounts:
1. If the contract and contact details are identical.
The transfer is carried out via two support requests:- The sender account opens a ticket with the product data and customer number of the recipient.
- The recipient account opens a second ticket, confirms the transfer, and provides the ticket number of the first ticket.
2. If the contract details are different.
In this case, the transfer form is required: The completed form is submitted via a support request in konsoleH.
Web hosting packages
For internal transfers, the transfer form must be submitted.
Managed servers
The transfer form must be submitted for the transfer.
Managed Domains
The transfer form must be submitted for the transfer.
Storage Shares
For storage shares, the transfer form must be submitted.
