General information for cages
Our cages do not have an included uplink. The requirements from our client differ too much from person to person. So the uplink for a cage is always based on your specific needs. There is one restriction: our cages cannot have copper uplinks; you can only have fibre channel uplinks.
Prices for redundant colocation rack uplinks
Internet upstream with personal BGP Session (redundant)
This is a connection with 2 uplinks which terminate in two redundant backbone routers.
This option is for clients with colocation racks or their own colocation cages.
It is available in FSN1-DC2 (Falkenstein), NBG1-DC2 and NBG1-DC4 (both in Nuremberg) and HEL1-DC1 (Helsinki).
Traffic: € 1.00 ($ 1.20) per TB.
A BGP Session requires two /30 transfer subnets. Each transfer subnet costs € 6.80 / $ 7.00 a month and a one-time fee of € 17.50 / $ 20.00.
