Additional notes & technical aspects
General:
- All configuration options depend on the availability of hardware components.
- Not all combinations are necessarily possible; some models have tighter limits.
- Upgrades (drives, RAM, NIC) are carried out via support/sales requests in the robot.
- In the event of disk errors or software RAID configurations, the usual Hetzner procedures apply (see documentation on RAID, hard disk replacement).
- The customer is responsible for monitoring and operating system configuration (monitoring, RAID configuration, backups).
GPU server line:
- The installation of additional GPU cards is not provided for in these models.
- GEX130 supports standard 1G or 10G NIC upgrades.
- GEX131 can only be configured with RAM and the corresponding data carrier extension.
- EX51 SSD GPU supports a maximum of 1G additional NIC.
- Other hardware combinations may be restricted by chassis or motherboard limitations.
