- Data storage: at least one SSD (NVMe or SATA) or HDD
- Network connection: 1 Gbit standard connection
- Network & IP: 1 /64 IPv6 subnet
- System access: Full root rights, rescue system, VNC installation, etc.

Additional information & technical aspects
General:
- All configuration options depend on the availability of hardware components
- Not all combinations are necessarily possible; some models have tighter limits.
- Upgrades (RAM, NIC) are carried out via support/sales requests in the robot.
- In the event of disk errors or software RAID configurations, the usual Hetzner procedures apply (see documentation on RAID, hard disk replacement).
- The customer is responsible for monitoring and operating system configuration (monitoring, RAID configuration, backups).
SX-specific:
- SX servers support extensive configurations of SATA HDDs, SATA SSDs, and NVMe data center SSDs.
- The actual drive configuration depends on the respective chassis (4-bay, 10-bay, 14-bay, 15-bay).
- RAM upgrades are only possible on some SX models; many systems were shipped with maximum RAM
